Keyword Elite Review

Keyword Elite is the new PPC Analysis Software tool from Brad Callen & Bryxen Software (creator of SEO Elite) If you have NO idea what Keyword Elite is all about, let me give me a quick and comprehensive overview of it's main features.

There are five projects within Keyword Elite, these are:

Project #1. 'Analyze Pay Per Click Listings'

Enter your keyword and get an overview the entire niche:

Results
Searches
Ratio of Results/Search
KEI (Keyword Effectiveness Index)
Adwords Click Count (this section can be broken down into 'broad', 'phrase', and 'exact')
AdWords Cost Per Click (CPC) (again, broken down into 'broad', 'phrase', and 'exact')

In addition, Keyword Elite will also find out information for each phrase:

The top ranked sites for that term
CPC
Specific search engine choice (choose from Google, Yahoo, Miva, Enhance)

So project one of Keyword Elite is a comprehensive PPC listings analysis. People pay GOOD money for software that only does this...

Project #2. 'Create a Keyword List'

This project is pretty cool. Basically you enter a phrase and you will get a massive list of relevant phrases. So if you searched for 'insurance' you would get all the keyword searches based around 'insurance'.

That's good in itself, but Keyword Elite goes an extra step and allows you to automatically add a word, or words, to the beginning, or the end (or both) of all, or selected phrases. So if you had a bunch of lists related to 'insurance' you could add 'information' to the end of every phrase!

You can even FILTER phrases out of the list that contain words you don't want to use. The video shows a great example of filtering out the word 'free' (a lot of the time you won't want to advertise to people who are searching for freebies...)

Project #3. 'Select Keyword List'

The third project within Keyword Elite lets you add commas, brackets, quotation marks, etc to create keyword lists with exact matches, phrases, and broad matches. Very handy.

Project #4. 'Analyze Keyword Competition'

This is where Keyword Elite really starts to kickass. The fourth project lets you enter a search term, and then it will find the top sites (how many it finds is up to you) for that term. Keyword Elite will grab all the related search phrases from Google and Overture, and how often those terms are searched. You can then check out the the title and Google Page Rank of the sites that rank high for those terms.

Taking it further, you can also check out:

H1 tags
Titles
Bolded, underlined, italicized keywords on the site
The 'alt' text for images
First and last 25 words

This section is great for SEO work as well - you can really feel creator Brad Callen's personal touch here (Brad is the creator of SEO Elite as well...)

Project #5. 'Spy On Adwords Competition'

Quite possibly the COOLEST feature of any AdWords software you'll ever see: SPYING on the competition!

Basically this whole fifth project is about analyzing how your competition is running their AdWords campaign. The trick is to spy on a site you are competing with, that obviously knows what they are doing when it comes to marketing via AdWords, and then let them do the market research and testing for you. If you see them changing their AdWords around, see what type of ad they eventually settle on, see which ones obviously don't work, and so on.

Keyword Elite does this very simply. All you do is enter the URL (say, for a product you want to promote as an affiliate through AdWords) and then add a keyword list (which you can of course create in earlier projects!), then Keyword Elite will find:

Search dates
If the site running the ads is an affiliate, or the actual product owner
The URL being promoted
The AdWords ad title
The AdWords ad copy

So basically you are peeping in on your competition - seeing how they run THEIR campaign, so you know exactly what to do (and what NOT to do) in yours. Basically you're letting other people do the early testing for you ;)

You can also set Keyword Elite so it automatically checks up on this data, so you get a nice steady stream of information about your competitors without doing another thing!
